We’re thrilled to share that we’ve successfully acquired the domain OperationFree.net, formerly representing a coalition of veterans and national security organizations dedicated to raising awareness about the national security risks posed by climate change and America’s reliance on oil. We commend the courage and leadership displayed by Operation Free’s veterans and we believe their voices deserve recognition and amplification.
Through this acquisition, we aspire to uphold Operation Free’s legacy by raising awareness about the national security implications of climate change and oil dependence. We also aim to shed light on the mental health challenges that many veterans confront. Our goal is to reach out to more veterans in need of our assistance, providing them with a safe and supportive environment where they can heal and recover from mental health and addiction disorders.
This strategic acquisition closely aligns with our mission and values as a top-rated mental health and addiction treatment center located in Hollywood, Florida.
OperationFree.net used to serve as the online home of Operation Free, a coalition established in 2009 by VoteVets.org and the Truman National Security Project. Their primary objective was to educate both the public and policymakers on the critical link between energy, climate, and national security. Operation Free’s veterans passionately conveyed their perspectives on the grave national security threats posed by climate change and oil dependence at various events, rallies, town halls, and through media outlets nationwide. They also collaborated with organizations such as the Sierra Club, the League of Conservation Voters, and the Natural Resources Defense Council to amplify their message and galvanize support for climate action.
