Lisa is a licensed mental health counselor with nearly 15 years of experience in the behavioral health field in various roles such as Case Management, Therapist, Clinical Director, and Executive Director. She has a diverse background working in various settings, such as in communities, schools, hospitals, substance abuse, and mental health treatment, as well as with various populations, ranging from children to adults.  Lisa’s extensive experience and passion in working with individuals struggling with severe and persistent mental illness has solidified the foundation to effectively treat various diagnoses. She possesses exemplary conceptualization skills to individualize client experience and takes pride in working amongst an interdisciplinary team and leading the clinical department in delivering quality care while meeting the unique needs of each client.

Ana, bilingual in Spanish and a licensed mental health counselor, serves as the Clinical Director at Compassions Behavioral Health. With a rich and passionate background in helping others, Ana pursued a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of San Diego. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to supporting individuals grappling with life’s toughest challenges, including suicide, trauma, severe mental illness, and substance use disorders. Ana integrates cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), Gestalt therapy, and mindfulness practices into her approach, aiming to ensure that all her clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to overcome the challenges they face.

Dr. Daud is a compassionate and experienced leader, serving as the Medical Director at Compassion Behavioral Health, where he oversees the clinical care and ensures the highest standards of mental health treatment. Board-certified in both Psychiatry and Addiction Psychiatry, Dr. Daud brings a unique dual-specialty expertise to the facility, enabling a holistic approach to the complex needs of patients dealing with mental health as well as substance use disorders.

With years of clinical practice, Dr. Daud is dedicated to providing evidence-based care while fostering a supportive, collaborative environment for both patients and staff. His passion for improving lives is rooted in a deep commitment to understanding the nuanced challenges of mental health and addiction, and working with individuals to help them on their journey to recovery.

Dr. Daud has extensive experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of psychiatric disorders, with a focus on dual diagnosis cases that involve both mental health and addiction challenges. In addition to clinical leadership, Dr. Daud is a strong advocate for integrating the latest research, treatment protocols, and technology to enhance patient outcomes. Aimee Payton is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who has dedicated her career to helping individuals feel understood, safe, and empowered in their healing journey. Drawn to healthcare from a young age, she first envisioned a future in labor and delivery but quickly discovered her true calling in psychiatry. Since then, she has devoted more than a decade to working with individuals facing mental health and substance use challenges, finding purpose in meeting people where they are and breaking the stigmas that surround psychiatric care.

As a clinician, Aimee is known for her warm and approachable style, blending advanced training in psychopharmacology with a deeply empathetic, patient-centered approach. She values the provider-patient relationship as a place of trust and connection, listening carefully to each person’s unique story and tailoring treatment to their needs.

In addition to her clinical practice, Aimee has held leadership roles as Director of Nursing and Nurse Manager across multiple inpatient, residential, outpatient, and correctional facilities. These experiences have strengthened her ability to guide teams, improve systems of care, and ensure that patients receive high-quality, compassionate treatment.

Outside of her professional life, Aimee is a proud mother who finds joy in family, gardening, and creating balance between her personal and professional worlds. She sees growth—whether in her garden or in her patients’ lives—as a reminder of resilience and the possibility of renewal.
