My experience with the the Case Manager Elena Morales was amazing, she is extremely helpful and most importantly she truly CARES which is hard to find in facilities like these. Especially being that she is the only case manager on staff. She went out of her way to get me a dental appointment and get me food stamps. She also got my cell phone turned back on which was way above and beyond. I can't say enough wonderful things about Elena's professionalism and just all around amazing treatment for her clients

My time at CBH was a positive experience overall. After a mental health crisis, you are connected with a team of professionals who truly want to help people get better. They provide tools, coping strategies, and life skills for a wide variety of mental health struggles. My therapist that was especially helpful to my healing process was Sarah, I could not have been able to get through this without her. Further the facilitators Jake, Raquel, and wellness coach Kelly were all good people that taught you valuable skills in and out of CBH.

The staff was always kind and very responsive with all my needs, the food was good and there was always snacks and ice cream on deck. Everything was very clean and they even do your laundry for you. I definitely recommend CBH to anyone taking their first steps into recovery.

I went to compassion for my mental health, I improved a lot with my emotions and learned to control myself. Elena the case manager helped me organize my appointments for my physical health and is a really nice gal. Jake the facilitator also is the best I always want to be in his groups because it’s very entertaining and also a lot of good insights on how to be a better person, some of the topics he gives is a reality check and it will make you process a lot. Overall the place is really nice and they are compassionate just like there name.

I am very very happy that I came to this place for treatment. I had kept my life on pause for a long time and Compassion helped remind me why life was worth living again. I loved all the friends I made here, the groups were amazing! Shout out to my therapist Shauna! Shoutout to the group counselors Gary and Kelly! I LOVEDDDDD the Yoga sessions. Thank you Sebastian for teaching me to play ping pong. Thank you Cindy for going above and beyond and baking us desserts and setting up games. Thank you Elena for helping me when I needed to order items. I really did enjoy my time here a lot, I am so glad I came. Thank you all so much.

Opioid Rehab in Hollywood, Florida: Treatment That Addresses the Whole Person

Opioid use rarely starts as the whole story. For many people in South Florida, it grows from untreated depression, anxiety, PTSD, or chronic pain, then becomes a cycle that crowds out relationships, work, and health. Effective care starts by stabilizing the body while treating what drives the symptoms inside the mind.

Hollywood Opioid Rehab should feel safe, structured, and compassionate. Trauma-informed teams, evidence-based therapies, and medication expertise can reduce withdrawal distress and make space for real change. When your care plan targets mental health first, you gain durable tools that support lasting sobriety.

Integrated, individualized treatment helps you regain control and rebuild trust with yourself and others. With the right support, you do not have to do this alone.

Opioid Addiction and Mental Health: Understanding the Co-Occurring Connection

Opioid misuse and mental health conditions reinforce each other through changes in the brain’s reward and stress systems. Many patients first use opioids to blunt intrusive anxiety, memories, or depressive pain, then find withdrawal worsens those same symptoms. Untreated trauma, mood disorders, and sleep disruption are common drivers, so treating them is essential to reduce craving and prevent relapse.

Dual-diagnosis care screens for depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other conditions on day one. Psychiatrists, therapists, and case managers coordinate a single plan so medications, therapy skills, and safety supports work together. To see how integrated treatment works in practice, explore our dual-diagnosis program in Florida.

Medical Detox and MAT for Opioid Rehab at CBH Hollywood

Medical detox in Hollywood provides 24/7 nursing oversight, physician-directed protocols, and comfort-focused care to manage opioid withdrawal safely. Vital signs, hydration, sleep, and nutrition are supported while anxiety, pain, and restlessness are treated. Stabilization is compassionate and paced to your needs, not a rigid timeline.

Medication-assisted treatment can begin in detox or shortly after, using buprenorphine, methadone, or extended-release naltrexone when clinically appropriate. MAT is paired with psychotherapy and psychiatric care to address cravings and co-occurring depression or PTSD. GeneSight genetic testing is available for high-acuity mental health cases to guide medication choices and reduce trial-and-error.

MAT remains individualized, monitored, and stigma-free so recovery can focus on building skills and purpose. Learn more in medication-assisted treatment details. Your team will revisit the plan regularly as stability and goals evolve.

What Dual-Diagnosis Opioid Treatment Looks Like at Compassion Behavioral Health

After detox, patients transition into a dual-diagnosis plan that feels personal and predictable. Minimal caseloads mean therapists have time to know your history, patterns, and strengths, while clinical directors track progress by name. Patients entering Hollywood Opioid Rehab move from stabilization to skill-building with the same core care team across levels.

  • Evidence-based therapies: CBT, DBT, EMDR, Neurofeedback
  • Recovery supports: SMART and optional 12-Step
  • Canine Assisted Therapy at residential, 2x/week
  • Mobile fitness, art, and music therapies
  • Family therapy integrated into treatment

Residential culture is inclusive and structured, with Friday gender-specific groups and LGBTQIA+ affirming care. Veterans and military families work with Spencer, a 21-year Army veteran and Director of Veteran Services, with TRICARE East accepted and VA navigation support. Care is accredited by JCAHO, AHCA, DCF, and informed by NAMI and PsychArmor training.

PHP uses an empowerment leveling system where progress unlocks family therapy access, therapeutic passes, and full programming at Level 3. Outcomes show meaningful improvements in depression, anxiety, and PTSD, supported by 633+ verified patient reviews. If residential stabilization fits your needs, see residential treatment in South Florida to understand the structure.

After Opioid Rehab: Continuing Care and Long-Term Recovery at CBH Hollywood

Recovery continues through step-down care in Fort Lauderdale with PHP, IOP, and OP, keeping the same treatment philosophy and many of the same providers. This continuity protects gains while you return to work, school, or family roles with structured support. Hollywood Opioid Rehab does not end at discharge; it evolves into a personalized aftercare plan.

  • Compassion Connections family program, bi-weekly Zoom
  • Relapse response: make it a lapse
  • Alumni, peer support, and SMART options
  • MAT maintenance and psychiatric follow-up
  • Safety planning and recovery coaching

Care teams coordinate community resources, primary care, and trauma supports to prevent isolation. 12-Step remains optional, with SMART Recovery and other peer supports encouraged. For a deeper look at planning beyond discharge, review how aftercare supports sobriety.
