Dual diagnosis Program

There is a strong link between addiction and mental health disorders. Roughly half of the people with an addiction also have a mental illness. To ensure that both the mental health disorder and the substance use disorder are given the appropriate attention, our two tracks of care are Substance Abuse and Mental Health.

The techs that made a difference and a great experience for me are Ms.Kem, Mark, Macala,Cindy, Shane, Alicia and Sheikla! My case manager Leslie was always very helpful with any questions or request I had I couldnt of asked for a better one. The group leaders that I will also miss because they arent at PHP are Gary, Kelly, Jake, Carla & Rochelle they have helped me changed my way of thinking to extreme positivity and helped me think in ways I never have. Also started yoga/meditation. If you are looking for treatment look no farther because this place is it and it is beautiful, the beds are so comfortable, the showers are amazing and the meals are really good. The peers I met while in detox have become family to me!

Lisa is a licensed mental health counselor with nearly 15 years of experience in the behavioral health field in various roles such as Case Management, Therapist, Clinical Director, and Executive Director. She has a diverse background working in various settings, such as in communities, schools, hospitals, substance abuse, and mental health treatment, as well as with various populations, ranging from children to adults. Lisa’s extensive experience and passion in working with individuals struggling with severe and persistent mental illness has solidified the foundation to effectively treat various diagnoses. She possesses exemplary conceptualization skills to individualize client experience and takes pride in working amongst an interdisciplinary team and leading the clinical department in delivering quality care while meeting the unique needs of each client.

Ana integrates cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), Gestalt therapy, and mindfulness practices into her approach, aiming to ensure that all her clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to overcome the challenges they face.
