Do Treatment Centers Need to be In-Network?
Beacon Health Options offers the best coverage for in-network treatment facilities. It’s possible that an out-of-network treatment center will not be covered, so it’s important to do your research first. Beacon Health Options tends to offer the biggest discounts to treatment facilities that they have a relationship with.
Compassion Behavioral Health proudly accepts Beacon Health Options. To find out what type of treatment is covered under your policy, contact our admissions coordinators at 844-503-0126. We will verify your insurance and determine what you are eligible for.
Many Beacon Health Options plans are provided along with other health insurance providers, so this coverage may influence your out-of-pocket costs as well. This is why it’s important to call and get the facts, as each policy is different.
Extensive Coverage for Inpatient and Outpatient Treatment Services
Beacon Health Options typically offers extensive coverage for inpatient treatment. Coverage varies among plans and also among partnerships with other insurance companies, but you can expect decent coverage.
Typically, Beacon Health Options covers most inpatient treatment services once the deductible has been met. You can expect to continue paying your copays as well. There are cases when Beacon Health Options may cover out-of-network treatment, such as when there’s an emergency situation. Still, the out-of-pocket costs are minimal compared to the true cost of addiction.
Examples of the types of addiction treatment services that Beacon Health Options may cover are:
- Screenings and assessments
- Medical exams
- Medications for withdrawal
- Medical detox
- Inpatient rehab
- Psychiatric evaluations
- Counseling
Beacon Health Options also provides coverage for outpatient treatment services, and the process is similar to inpatient programs. The outpatient facility must be in-network to qualify for the most coverage unless there is an emergency or another exception cleared by insurance.
We Proudly Accept Beacon Health Options for All Levels of Care
Compassion Behavioral Health works with Beacon Health Options. We offer treatment for substance use and mental health disorders, also called co-occurring disorders. Our treatment gives attention to both disorders, though there are two tracks to choose from. The first gives more attention to the addiction, while the other gives more attention to the mental illness. We feel this is the most effective approach to treating a co-occurring condition, as it gives the right amount of treatment and consideration to each problem.
All treatment is highly personalized and focuses on relapse prevention, developing essential life skills, and taking responsibility in relationships, aside from getting clean and sober. We are also pleased to offer three levels of care that include Partial Hospitalization, Intensive Outpatient, and Outpatient.
- Partial hospitalization. Our highest level of care, partial hospitalization offers addiction treatment during the day and sober housing at night. Clients also have access to 24-hour care from our Behavioral Health Technicians.
- Intensive outpatient. Intensive outpatient provides additional support and structure to newly recovering addicts. Expect weekly group and individual counseling sessions to keep clients on track with their recovery goals.
- Outpatient. Our outpatient services offer a single session of the group and individual counseling that helps hold our clients accountable. Outpatient services are most effective after completing a more robust program.
Additionally, all clients have access to psychiatric and medical services throughout the week. No matter which program you choose for yourself or a loved one, rest assured that the highest quality of care will be delivered. Depending on your plan, these services may be covered by Beacon Health Options once you have met your deductible.
Understanding the True Cost of Addiction
The true cost of addiction is more than the cost of the drug itself. In 2017, the CDC reported that the opioid crisis cost our nation $115 billion. It’s estimated that our country will lose another $500 billion over the next three years if something isn’t done. Sadly, everyone foots this bill. Individuals, private sectors, and government sectors all lose money due to lost productivity, social services, education, health care, and criminal justice.
Cost is a major barrier to addiction treatment, but it shouldn’t be. The cost of treatment can stop this cycle and alleviate financial burdens on individuals, businesses, and the government. If you have out-of-pocket costs, you can use a credit card to pay for this balance, take out a personal loan or apply for a grant through SAMHSA. There is always a way to make treatment affordable, and Compassion Behavioral Health can help. Call our admissions coordinators today at 844-503-0126. Compassion Behavioral Health is not contracted with Beacon Health, therefore bills Beacon Health for services at an out-of-network rate.
