Danielle Collins

Nurse Practitioner

Danielle Collins is a compassionate and dedicated Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, who has been caring for patients struggling with mental health and substance abuse issues for over 25 years. Her passion began very early in her nursing career as an LPN in the 1990’s. Though she continued her education in multiple areas of nursing, she knew even back then that she wanted to specialize in psychiatric nursing to make a meaningful difference in the lives of her patients.

Danielle received her APRN and Master of Science in Nursing degree, from Nova Southeastern University and her Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Certification (PMHNP-BC) from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). As a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, she remains a highly respected and effective leader who is committed to actively breaking the stigma associated with mental health and substance abuse treatment. Danielle is a diligent patient advocate who helps patients as they embark on their journey of discovering mental wellness and the 12 steps in recovery.

Throughout her years of nursing practice, Danielle has worked with patients dealing
with a wide range of mental health issues such as ADHD, depression, anxiety, bipolar
disorder, and alcohol/substance use disorders. Through accurate assessment,
diagnosis, medication management and individualized therapies she has developed a
keen ability to diagnose and treat mental health disorders effectively; by using a
patient-centered holistic approach, that addresses the unique needs of her patients.

Through empathy and respect, Danielle helps each patient to see themselves as a
product of change, and a top priority in their own transformation. She always strives
to make it understood that even though the past cannot be changed…. The best of
their future is yet to come.
