Jennifer, bilingual in Spanish, graduated with a Masters of Science in Mental Health and Marriage and Family Counseling from Barry University. Jennifer is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor as well as a registered Marriage and Family Counseling intern. Paired with her passion for helping others, living overseas for over 15 years provided Jennifer a genuine and intimate experience of working with a multiculturally diverse populations. Jennifer has experience working with individuals overcoming substance abuse issues as well as individuals experiencing mental health stressors such as depression, anxiety, grief and loss, relational and family issues among others. Jennifer, trained and influenced by CBT, Bowenian Systems Theory and Mindfulness, utilizes a variety of therapeutic techniques and adapts her approach to the appropriate needs of the client to provide holistic assistance.
